We are happy to announce the release of MightyFields v3.11.0.

Let’s look at the upgrades that have been made.

#1 Explain field situations with annotated images

It can be challenging to explain a complex problem only with words. With the new Mighty feature, workers can capture photos of the problem from their mobile camera or add them from their photo library. It is also possible to add drawings or text to the images to provide more accurate information about the problem.

You can read more about the annotated images feature here.

Upgraded features in Smart Scheduler

#2 Adding an execution deadline

Every task has a deadline by which it should be completed. This process of assigning tasks can prove to be timeconsuming. MightyFields now has the option of adding an execution deadline to a task. The Smart scheduler then makes an effort to arrange the jobs to be done by the execution deadline date.

#3 Holidays

Under settings, it is possible to define collective holidays. The algorithm takes into account the days employees are not at work and does not assign any tasks during that time.

#4 Lunchtime

Depending on the settings, the algorithm can automatically assign lunchtime to workers. Lunchtime can be fixed or dynamic, for example, half an hour between 11 am and 1 pm.

#5 Determine the starting location of field workers

It is now possible to determine the starting location for an individual field worker. The distance to the first task is thus calculated from the worker’s starting point. This is useful if your workers start work from home or from different branches.

#6 Technical & security improvements

Last but not least, several technical and security improvements have been made to the Mightyfields app.

All the changes will be available from today on.
As always, you can update the Mightyfields app directly from the App Store or Google Play.
